The Lion Tamer: A Caged
Death
Finished your latest book,
The Lion Tamer, and thoroughly enjoyed Grace & Harry's encounters again.
The two of them certainly lead exciting lives. I am looking forward to your next
book in this series. Thought your portrayal of Officer Pat in The Lion Tamer was
excellent, professional, and showed her to be of sterling character. Enjoyed
meeting you at the book signing.
Sincerely,
Officer Pat
"… a veritable shot of
adrenaline. As you follow Gracie's first person memoir of the strange events
surrounding this adventure, you are drawn into her roller-coaster ride as you
bump into bumps involving red diamonds and missing necklaces. You are put into
a mood of being thankful to Heaven that you are safe in your chair and not near
Gracie in real life. I plan on obtaining the first book in the series, with the
hope it was as enjoyable as The Lion Tamer. I was easily led astray by
false information and almost didn't find several connections between fact and
the insignificant. I definitely didn't get the murderer right. Good job, Mrs.
Buehler, The Lion Tamer is great mystery."
Roundtable Reviews
"Welcome to the engaging
Grace Marsden's world, where romance and mayhem vie for her attention -- much to
a reader's satisfaction and delight."

"I especially enjoyed the
supernatural aspect of the book. The line 'It was as if an occult hand had held
the letter until my reconciliation with Karen could give me the strength to
handle it.' gave me shivers, as I realized you were talking about God."

"My mom purchased a copy of
both of your books for me, as I am an avid reader. I cannot begin to tell you
how much I am enjoying them. I finished Rosary Bride the other day and
am now reading The Lion Tamer: A Caged Death. I am very happy to tell
you that I cannot put it down. Rosary Bride was so intriguing. I kept
thinking that different people were the murderer and than at the end, to my
surprise, it was no one I suspected. It was awesome. I am not usually a
Murder-Mystery Buff, but your combination of romance and murder mystery caught
my interest. I do hope you are continuing the Grace Marsden series, as I look
forward to it continuing. What I also enjoy is the scenery. The
acknowledgement of places, streets, and towns make the reading much more
enjoyable. It's almost as if it's real because it's practically in my
backyard."

"The Lion Tamer: A Caged
Death reminds
the reader that sooner or later a mystery reveals itself no matter how hard the
guilty partner tries to bury it. The tension of past relationships,
never-forgotten-love, guilt and regret keep the story moving at an interesting
pace. It is indeed a character-driven book, which has you worried about the
main and secondary characters to the very last page. Buehler has a talent for
creating dimensional characters right down to their daily-living routines and
ever-surfacing emotions. This book is a keeper. I've even purchased The
Rosary Bride: A Cloistered Death. Find both books online and sip a cup of
Earl Gray tea in you most comfortable chair. Harry will be pleased."

"The
Lion Tamer: A Caged Death
is a fast paced mystery that romps through DuPage County and surrounding areas.
...you'll recognize numerous local landmarks referenced in the book - places
like Cottage Hill Jewelers in Elmhurst, Good Samaritan Hospital and other local
haunts (better you discover them yourself than for us to give them away!)"
